Jose Alvarez, MBA

Born and raised in Wisconsin, I spent a decade serving in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and infantryman, leading reconnaissance operations. After completing my service, I returned to my roots, earning a Master’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I began my career in finance as a banker in 2018 and became a licensed financial advisor in 2021.

Today, I combine my dedication to service with my passion for financial planning, as I work toward earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Outside of finance, I run a small herd of beef cattle, while my wife, a dedicated nurse, also has flock of laying hens. Together, we enjoy raising our son, Carver, hiking, travelling, and embracing the values of rural living. This blend of experience—military, business, and agriculture—shapes my perspective and informs the personalized strategies I create for my clients.
